Location: Huntsville, Alabama

Reports To: Operations Director

Position Description

Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and successful execution of all projects from initiation through completion.. The Project Manager will be responsible for project quality and control, communication, documentation, adherence to manufacturer and building code requirements, client satisfaction, and job profitability.

Core Responsibilities

• Project Planning
• Conduct pre-con site inspections to verify the scope of work and material needs.
• Project Management
• Own and manage installation process from start to finish.
• Document job as necessary
• Communication
• Communication with subcontractors and clients to ensure expectations are understood and met.
• Communicate with multiple departments to achieve production goals and timelines.
• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers/ vendors as necessary
• Quality Control
• Frequently inspect projects to verify quality, work in progress, and work completion.
• Budget and Resource Management
• Identify and communicate potential change order needs to clients and management.
• Ensure successful project closing to include material returns, documentation of overages/ shortages, etc.
• Safety and Compliance
• Ensure installations maintain safety standards
• Ensure crew compliance with RCB standards
• Risk Management
• Identify potential risks and issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Manage and resolve any project-related issues that arise.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities as required

Required Qualifications

• General Knowledge of Construction.
• Computer Proficiency in Google G-Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• High level of organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Dependable vehicle (truck preferred).
• Availability to work Mon-Fri with some weekend days as needed
• High school or equivalent education
• Minimum of 1 year project management experience
• Willingness to travel with occasional overnight stay

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of Project Management experience in residential construction/renovation.
• Proficient knowledge of Residential Roofing and home market building code.

Compensation Benefits

• Compensation
• $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year depending on experience
