Job Summary
The Parts Specialist at RCD RV Supercenter plays a crucial role in providing both external and internal customers with parts and accessories solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide sales assistance to customers and internal employees
- Monitor and adjust inventory levels based on part turnover
- Conduct inventory control with daily cycle counts
- Oversee special order parts process and ensure timely delivery
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service and product knowledge to our retail store
- Work with Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and stock items
- Develop, enforce and monitor guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Handle customer/vendor complaints immediately and according to guidelines
- Assist sales staff in providing accessories to their customers
- Manage parts associates and develop team members
- Other duties assigned by management
Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Prior high-volume retail Management experience required
- Prior retail experience within the automotive, RV, or Powersports industry is desired but not required
- Demonstrate experience in inventory control with daily cycle counts
- Experience with managing and training team members is a must
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to work with a wide range of customers
- Must be detail oriented
- Basic computer knowledge
- Reliable and strong work ethic
- Valid driver’s license.
