The Position
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our team! This role involves installing all aspects of plumbing systems for institutional, educational, and commercial clients. Our projects vary in size, and you will play a key role in ensuring client satisfaction and quality execution. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will contribute to the success of each project through leadership and hands-on field installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from blueprints and system drawings.
- Understand and execute coordination drawings.
- Complete daily jobsite paperwork when applicable.
- Clock in and track time accurately.
- Arrive on time daily and be prepared for the workday.
- Recognize and communicate RFIs and change orders to the Foreman.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with Foremen and co-workers to ensure project success.
- Consistently demonstrate RCL Mechanical’s core values in all aspects of the job.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5 years of plumbing experience (required).
- Journeyman Plumber’s License (preferred).
- Self-motivated, flexible team player who isn’t afraid to ask for help.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and maintain a high level of detail.
- Comfortable using an iPad for submitting daily paperwork.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
