The Position
We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient management of inventory, storage, and distribution of plumbing and HVAC materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage shipment, storage, and distribution of all plumbing and heating products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborate with technicians, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient material and equipment ordering.
- Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Load and unload trucks safely, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
- Sort and stock incoming materials with accuracy and efficiency.
- Organize and coordinate material and equipment returns to vendors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, including shipping and receiving areas.
- Coordinate and assist with fleet maintenance to ensure reliable transportation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking daily material movements in the system.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and ensure proper inventory control.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of logistics experience.
- Prior experience with HVAC, plumbing, or electrical materials (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
