Summary of Position:
The Compliance Analyst position is a full-time role requiring 37.5 hours per week.This position reports to the Director of Compliance (Ibbie Hedrick Britton) with a dotted line to the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager (Donna Fowler). It is primarily focused on assisting with internal E&O Quality Management program general administrative tasks including data entry, audit selections, pre-auditing of accounts and assisting with formal program auditing when needed. Additionally, 25 percent of the position is dedicated to assisting with Surplus Lines administrative tasks and another 25 percent of duties dedicated to serving as a member of the Carrier Portal Administration team. Position can be remote or hybrid.
Essential Duties:
Quality Management:
> Assist with data entry as needed
> Assist with selecting accounts to be audited by Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager
> Assist primary auditor with audits for departments with large books of business
> Assist with tracking of audit results and data management
> Auditing of accounts serviced by departing/terminated employees including trilogy audits and review of open activities
> Participate in routine URA QM Working Group Meetings, RCM&D Compliance Department meetings and RCM&D QM Core Team Meetings
> Serve as backup auditor if Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager is on leave
>Assist with Compliance Department special projects, as needed
Surplus Lines:
>Assist with Surplus Lines administrative duties including but not limited to reviewing spreadsheets and reconciling placements
>Participate in URA Surplus Lines Working Group meetings
Carrier Portal Administration:
>Serve as primary contact for managing carrier portal access requests for RCM&D employees
>Create logins related to new hires
> Delete logins related to terminations
>Process carrier appointment requests if processing must be through carrier admin portal
>Maintain log of carrier portal users
>Routinely update list of carrier operations email addresses
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years insurance experience and use of agency management system is preferred. Must be proactive, self-motivated, organized and detail oriented.
Knowledge and Skill In:
Prior understanding of E&O Quality Management audit criteria and program requirements is preferred. Proficient use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
