Description
RCN Capital, LLC is a national, direct private lender providing time-sensitive, bridge financing to real estate investors to fund the purchase of non-owner occupied residential and commercial properties, provide bridge loans, and provide real estate-backed lines of credit.
We're seeking a Post Closing Specialist I to join our team! This role will be responsible for researching and maintaining the status of loan closing packages, researching outstanding investor exceptions and obtaining needed documentation, and collaborating with the Closing team to contact borrowers to obtain revised or corrected documents to ensure all loan packages are accurate. The Post Closing Specialist I will also assist the Treasury and Post-Closing teams with day-to-day responsibilities in times of high volume.

Responsibilities :
- Opening, sorting, and scanning all closing packages to prepare for processing.
- Coordinating shipments to custodians and working with the CLT team to determine the appropriate custodian for each package.
- Creating and managing assignments for custodians, including scanning and shipping documents.
- Providing support to the team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Serving as a Notary Public, notarizing and witnessing documents as required.
- Additional tasks and projects as directed
