RCN Capital, LLC is a national, direct private lender providing time-sensitive, bridge financing to real estate investors to fund the purchase of non-owner occupied residential and commercial properties, provide bridge loans, and provide real estate-backed lines of credit.
We're seeking a Post Closing Specialist II to join our team! This role will be responsible for researching and maintaining the status of loan closing packages, researching outstanding investor exceptions and obtaining needed documentation, and collaborating with the Closing team to contact borrowers to obtain revised or corrected documents to ensure all loan packages are accurate. The Post Closing Specialist I will also assist the Treasury and Post-Closing teams with day-to-day responsibilities in times of high volume.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Open all closing packages, sort, scan and ship
- Create investor assignments and scan and ship
- Work with investors on trailing exceptions
- Research closing package status
- Utilize smartsheets for exceptions and trailing research
- Upload docs to investor boxes
- Work with Supervisor on releases
- Notarize and witness docs
- Export info from reports to send data to the investors.
Required Skills:
- Strong customer service skills
- MS Office Suite, specifically skills utilizing MS Excel
- Detailed-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
Required Experience:
- At least 2 years of office experience
- Experience with the lending or loan process
- Ability to handle multiple tasks daily
- Customer service experience
- Post Closing experience preferred
- Notary certification preferred
Education:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree in Business, Communication, Finance, Real Estate or related field preferred
Schedule:
- Full Time
- Monday-Friday, 9:00AM to 6:00PM
