- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure the dimensions of parts and components
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and CAD models to determine measurement requirements
- Use various measuring tools such as bore gauges, calipers, and micrometers to perform accurate measurement
- Perform inspections on machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Create inspection reports and document measurement data
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to identify and resolve any dimensional issues
- Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accuracy
- Proficiency in using CMM equipment and software
- Strong mathematical skills for interpreting measurements and calculations
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes and tooling
- Mechanical knowledge to understand part specifications and tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and CAD models
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing measurements and inspections
- Up to $28 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Optional participation in benefits plan (medical, dental, vision, etc.)
- Contract to hire position
