A leading credit rating agency is expanding their Private Credit Fund Finance team and seeking two smart individuals with either a quantitative Masters or CFA studies to join their expanding analytical team in New York. Private Credit and Fund Finance are two rapidly growing areas, offering strong opportunity to gain experience in a fast growing area, working within a market leading team. You will be smart and ambitious, and can come from a range of backgrounds but financial analysis and quantitative skills are key.
You will be involved in:
- Credit Ratings and Research: The role involves significant participation in the credit rating process and research for diverse debt transactions related to investment funds.
- Thought Leadership and Networking: Leading or contributing to speaking engagements, publications, and networking to enhance the firm's standing in the fund finance sector.
- Credit Risk Assessment Expertise: Requires extensive knowledge and confidence in evaluating credit risk across various investment strategies and transaction structures.
- Strong Communication and Analytical Skills: Demands exceptional writing and presentation abilities to articulate complex topics for internal committees and external publications, alongside the ability to conduct due diligence and develop analytical tools.
You will have:
- Analytical and Modeling Proficiency: Strong experience in an analytical role with expertise in cash flow and financial modeling, particularly using Advanced Excel. VBA or Python would be a plus, although not essential
- Communication and Collaboration: Effective verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively and lead within a dynamic environment.
- Organizational and Time Management: Proven ability to multitask, manage time and resources effectively, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Education: You will certainly have a quantitative undergraduate degree. A quantitative masters or CFA studies would be looked upon favorably
- Relevant Background and Flexibility: Experience in private credit, fund finance, corporate finance or related sectors is a plus but not essential - providing
