We are currently seeking a highly motivated seasoned professional to lead multiple national retail programs with a wide array of excited projects nationwide. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage client relationships and a multi-discipline team, execute design concepts, and advance projects through entitlements, documentation and construction.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple projects and collaborate in the preparation of strategic plans for program success. The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of all of the technical and administrative efforts to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned work. Serves as the primary client liaison and is responsible to complete multiple projects to satisfy the firm’s high standards and client’s goals. Actively manages project team assignments, work plans, schedules, project communication and documentation. Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts for presentation to client.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mentor staff in development of industry knowledge and architectural skills. Engages in learning about relevant new codes, technologies and materials.
- Lead coordination and communication efforts with consultants, engineers and third-party vendors.
- Research, establish and adhere to city / county agency requirements.
- Participate in AHJ meetings / presentations during the entitlement process.
- Oversee and support administrative staff during the permitting process.
- Maintain continuous flow of critical information.
- Review drawings and specifications for quality control and assurance for submittals to review agencies.
- Direct the preparation and issuance of bid documents.
- Perform all construction contract administration tasks and attend construction meetings as needed.
- Issue and record Change of Service Agreements in a timely manner when requests are made for work that falls outside of the original scope of work.
- Establish and maintain financial oversight of your own projects through development and supervision of project schedules and budgets
