Re:Dish is hiring an Operations Supervisor/Manager to partner closely with the General Manager at our Philadelphia location. You will work with the GM to oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory management, stock control, and logistics workflows. This on-site position managing hourly operations associates and Route Drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring throughput goals are met efficiently and on time.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team including Operations Associates and Box Truck Drivers.
- Analytics & Reporting: Prepare, analyze and present facility performance and opportunities to senior management. Establish and monitor department KPIs.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet standards consistently
- Headcount & Budget Management: Develop and manage the facility's headcount and budget, including cost control measures and efficiency improvements.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring supplies are available for processing and finished products are correctly stored and shipped on-time.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure the facility is always pristine: organized, functional and comfortable for the team to be productive.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Safety: Ensure that all safety regulations and guidelines are followed, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
- Compliance: Ensure the facility and Trucks complies with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
We're ideally seeking:
- 5 years of relevant experience leading large teams in Operations, Warehouse, Manufacturing or Retail environment,
- 2 years of managing teams of 7 hourly employees
- Experience driving a Box Truck and managing Drivers and routes
- Strong leadership qualities with a passion for building and mentoring high-performing teams of hourly workers.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in effective development conversations, including providing corrective actions, to foster professional growth and maintain team performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking.
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Google and Microsoft Office Suites.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- The role requires physical presence in the facility, with regular interaction with production staff and hands-on involvement in operations.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
