Maintenance and Repair Technician

RE360 is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform ongoing residential and commercial maintenance and complete repairs on equipment in our rental properties within our portfolio of nearly 600 properties. Duties include fixing appliances, plumbing, heating and wiring, drywall and everyday residential requests of all kinds. Your expertise will help maintain a safe and comfortable living environment, making you a valuable asset to our team dedicated to excellence in property management.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize core skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are vital as you interact with residents to address their concerns effectively.
• Perform property repairs and preventative maintenance
• Follow schedule, keeping clear and constant communication with manager and coordinator.
• Interact and communicate with tenants in a professional & courteous manner
• Openly communicate with the team and supervisors if you are unsure how to approach a maintenance issue
• Critical thinking and problem solving is a must, Know when to audible on issues you need assistance with.

Skills & Requirements:

• Must be available for rotating on-call weekends and after hours emergencies (Bonus included for on-call weeks)
• Strong communication and listening skills
• A fierce work ethic and the drive to get the job done in a timely manner
• Accountability and the willingness to receive constructive criticism
• Friendly and respectful customer service skills while interacting with tenants and neighbors

You will not be considered without the following:

• Reliable transportation to work, with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• A working cell phone and your own basic hand tools (More extensive tools provided)

Experience:

• Residential Maintenance: 1-2 years, minimum. Our properties are predominantly single family homes, we do not have high rises or apartment complexes. We are looking for techs with similar experience
• A successful candidate will have a range of experience in the following areas: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and framing/drywall.

Compensation:

• 40 hours weekly with optional OT available and encouraged
• Monday - Thursday work weeks
• $18.00 to $24.00/hour based on experience
