POSITION SPECIFIC DETAILS :
Hours : 40 hours / week
Status : Part Year
Location : Stoughton, Wisconsin
SUMMARY
The 4K Lead Teacher / Site Director will provide a safe and nurturing environment for children that encourage their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. This person will plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for enrolled children living in low-income, at-risk environments. Will ensure the provision of quality, comprehensive child development services including education, health, nutrition, parent involvement, and necessary family support services and referrals; follow Head Start performance standards, Reach Dane policies and procedures, DCF Childcare Licensing requirements, Young Star and / or City of Madison (if applicable); maintain positive relationships with parents, children and coworkers and community partners. The person will provide supervision and performance feedback for reporting staff.
