What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Shelter Advocate position at REACH of Haywood County In?
Work in a shelter for domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse victims. Will provide support for the shelter manager. Help picking up weekend shifts and holiday shifts to provide the 24 hour required coverage. Help provided emotional support and resources to shelter residents. Will be required to do some cleaning and organizing. The ideal candidate will need to have good communication skills, flexible, and works well with other people. Will need to be compassionate and non judgmental.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evenings as needed
- Holidays
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends only
