Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled AI Researcher to join our team, focusing on foundational models in artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, big data, and multimodal systems, with a passion for advancing the state of the art in AI research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct original research on foundational models, including large language models, vision models, and multimodal systems that integrate various data types.
- Design, implement, and evaluate novel algorithms and architectures to improve the performance and efficiency of foundational models, particularly those with billions of parameters.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for processing and analyzing terabytes of data efficiently.
- Leverage GPU clusters for large-scale model training and experimentation, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into practical applications and products.
- Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals, contributing to the academic community.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to ongoing projects.
- Mentor and guide junior researchers and interns in their research activities.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- Proven experience in AI research, particularly in foundational models, big data, and multimodal systems.
- Strong publication record in reputable conferences and journals in the field of AI.
- Experience with large-scale machine learning frameworks and libraries, including Burn and Candle.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C , Rust, and Python.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and optimization techniques.
- Experience with MLX for machine learning experimentation and model management.
- Familiarity with building and optimizing data pipelines for handling terabytes of data efficiently.
- Experience with GPU clusters for high-performance computing and model training.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to a positive research culture.
Preferred Qualifications:
