Reports To: Program Director
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional evenings and weekends
Pay: $47,120 - $60,580

SUMMARY
The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring Read Better Be Better (RBBB) programs are implemented in accordance with established standards with school partners. The Program Manager will be expected to effectively liaison between the Program Director, Program Coordinators, Program Coaches, and district and school partners. This position holds responsibility for all aspects of the program implementation process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- -Responsible for overseeing and enforcing RBBB policies and procedures to ensure effective implementation of the Read Better Be Better Program and to keep students safe.
- -Recruit, lead and manage a team of Program Coordinators to include facilitating weekly team and 1:1 meetings; administering professional development; implementing performance management; and resolving any employee relations issues.
- -Establish and maintain a reflective and positive culture according to RBBB values that allows all program staff to set goals, build on strengths, identify challenges and to continuously improve as they implement the program.
- -Establish and maintain ongoing communications and relationships with district and school partners with appropriate follow-up.
- -Set and manage expectations with school staff for effective program delivery.
- -Effectively communicate with district and school partners with in-person visits, newsletters, attendance reports, and email communications.
- -Oversee and assist with staff recruitment, training, supervision and motivation of Program Coaches.
- -In collaboration with Operations Department, establish effective policies and procedures to ensure excellent program delivery and the achievement of intended outcomes.
- -Travel throughout Maricopa County to conduct ongoing observations of program delivery and relationship building with partner schools.
- -Manage the execution of student administration and evaluation process.
- -Support the efforts of other Program Managers and all RBBB departments strategic priorities.
- -Support the mission, vision and values of Read Better Be Better daily.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- -Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
- -Must have a valid Arizona driver's license
- -Must have or obtain a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
PREFFERRED EXPERIENCE
- -Experience working with community-based organization and/or schools
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- -This position will requires frequent travel to designated school partners
- -This position may require work hours into the early evening during each semester while program is being implemented at partner schools.
- -Program Managers work at the RBBB office
- -This position operates in a professional and entrepreneurial office environment
- -The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers and filing cabinets
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- -Ability to operate standard office equipment
- -Ability to lift/push material carts up to 50 lbs.
