Read's Uniforms is a locally owned & rapidly growing company that specializes primarily in public safety, medical, education, and hospitality uniforms. Our decoration and fulfillment center in Asheville services our 23 retail stores and the public safety communities in 6 states.
We are seeking a leader for our receiving team. The receiving department has 3 runners and a lead. The lead is responsible for operating the computer, checking items into the system, giving direction to his or her team, ensuring orders are correct, and solving problems as they come up. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented critical thinker who has a good memory. He/she will be project minded, get satisfaction from completing tasks efficiently.
We are currently hiring for Monday through Friday shift 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, but after training there is some flexibility to that schedule. Overtime is sometimes offered and is seasonally required.
