Role Description
We are looking for a rockstar candidate for our firm who is invested in their personal and professional growth, as well as the growth of the firm. For the right candidate, we will consider full-time or part-time, on-site or hybrid role, so long as the needs of the clients are being addressed.
The paralegal will be responsible for assisting attorneys in various day-to-day tasks, including legal document preparation, discovery and document gathering, communication with clients and other parties, conducting legal research, and reviewing documents. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys to ensure cases are effectively managed and clients' needs are met. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years’ experience, and a background in social work is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications
- Experience in legal document preparation and document review
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Background in social work or related field is preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in conducting legal research and analyzing information
- Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience with family law is preferred
- Paralegal certification or relevant degree is preferred
