SUMMARY
Ready 5 Restoration offers 24/7 Emergency Response Services to the Coastal Florida counties. Our Services include water extraction, fire & smoke damage mitigation, contents, mold remediation.
Our company is expanding, and we are searching for a talented Restoration Technician to support our team. We are offering this excellent opportunity for the right candidate who wants to work for a company that is team and customer service oriented. The Restoration Technician will support business goals and objectives while sustaining the company's objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Water mitigation, Fire and/or mold remediation experience.
- IICRC Certification Preferred, not required
- Operating remediation equipment, drying equipment and a Ready5 service vehicle.
- Valid and insurable FL Driver’s License
- Working well with handheld mobile devices
- Positive Attitude

- Ability to work flexible hours when on call. (Ready5 Restoration is a 24/7 company)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Water mitigation, structural drying, Fire and/or mold remediation experience: 2-3 years (Preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong organizational and task management skills. Strong relationship management and proven experience delivering high level if internal and external customer service.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Requires medium labor – candidate must be able to lift 50lbs. Routinely
- Ability to work in awkward places; stand; sit; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk and hear.
- Willing to be occasionally work in high, precarious places; outdoor weather conditions; and extreme cold (non-weather)
- Willing to work under fumes or airborne particle and toxic or caustic chemicals environment (will be provided safety training and safety equipment)
- Traveling to each job location requires the safe operation of a company vehicle.
