About the Application Developer role:
The Application Developer will report directly to the IT Leadership, with daily duties and responsibilities accountable to IT and Business Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for software application development and IT platform support. They will perform a variety of technical tasks, including but not limited to, Salesforce application development, data input and configuration, CTI configuration and management, and general software application support. The candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a dynamic workload. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause and advance the mission of Ready Rebound for First Responders across the country.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design and develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components to enhance CRM functionality.
- Data Modeling: Structure and manage data within Salesforce by creating custom objects, fields, and relationships to ensure efficient data management.
- Workflow Automation: Implement custom workflows and triggers to automate business processes within Salesforce.
- User Interface: Develop user-friendly interfaces using Lightning components to enhance user experience, and customize fields, page layouts, record types, and other Salesforce features to align with business processes.
- Salesforce Customizations: Tailor Salesforce features and functionalities to meet specific business needs through configuration and custom development.
- Salesforce Integrations: Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs to streamline data flow and improve system interoperability.
- Testing and QA: Thoroughly test custom applications to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
- Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation for developed solutions, including technical specifications and user guides.
- User Management: Creates and manages user accounts, assigning roles and profiles, managing permissions and access levels, sets up sharing rules, organization-wide defaults (OWD), and manages data security.
- User Training: Coordinates, assists, and trains others to support the operation of software applications. Supports the development of protocols for IT usage across departments and projects, advises on suitable IT choices, and ensures compliance with IT standards and functionality.
- User Support: Provides customer support, educates end-users on how to use features and utilize system functionalities.
- Reporting and Analytics: Compiles, analyzes, and prepares dataset reports to support the organization's mission and operational needs.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration.
Skills and Abilities
- Experience with Business Analytics and Statistics.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into a technical implementation.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of Lightening components and the Lightening design system.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce core functionalities, objections, relationships, and data structures.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Salesforce administration and development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with CTI systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Experience in healthcare is a plus.
Compensation will be market based and commensurate with background and experience.
