Responsibilities
- Community outreach:
Attend 2 after school events each month
Serve as the liaison and organizer to assigned schools - Classroom education:
Teach our oral health curriculum in a classroom setting - Clinical services:
Prepare supplies and equipment for upcoming clinic
Work as a team with other CHWs and dental providers to provide dental services
Record exam/treatment in our software
Support post clinic processes - Administrative services:
Maintain connections with parents/caregivers and low-cost dental clinics
Assist with scanning consent forms to NESS and Open Dental
Help maintain counts for grant information resource
Record all patient care management information and contacts in NESS
Enroll patients
REQUIRED
- High school diploma or GED
- Fluent in Karen and English
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide high-quality patient care
- Transportation/driver's license required
- Lived experience and understanding of the community served by RSS
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
