Ready Field Solutions is currently seeking a full-time Field Operations Manager for our Mulch and Playground Division based in Streetsboro, OH. The Field Operations Manager will oversee approximately 5-7 mulch crews using blower trucks to achieve safety, quality, and production goals. This is a salaried, exempt position, ideal for individuals with strong leadership skills and a road warrior mentality, as the position requires travel and remote work during peak seasons.
Travel Details :
The role involves travel across multiple states, beginning in Tennessee in February, then moving to Columbus by March, and concluding the season in the Akron / Cleveland / Canton area by the fall. There will be periods of time away from home, with stays of up to two weeks at a time. Travel and food expenses are covered.
Position Responsibilities :
- Champion RFS’s FIELD FOCUS (Safety, Quality, Production, and Equipment Care).
- Oversee the field operations and production of mulch crews, including jobsite reconnaissance before, during, and after completion.
- Serve as the liaison between the office, field teams, and clients to ensure that projects meet specifications and requirements.
- Plan work schedules, determine necessary manpower, material quantities, equipment, and traffic control.
- Ensure proper care, maintenance, and operation of all company equipment.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with crews, clients, and stakeholders.
