Are you a seasoned professional in the construction industry with an innate ability to lead, manage, and inspire teams? Do you have a knack for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Operations Manager Construction to join our dynamic team. This role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to excellence. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our construction operations, from estimating costs and conducting inspections to managing projects and leading day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities

As our Field Operations Manager Construction, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to

• Overseeing and coordinating all activities related to construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.
• Estimating costs, preparing proposals, and conducting inspections to ensure all construction projects are feasible and profitable.
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the service department, coordinating resources, schedules, and activities to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Supervising job sites, ensuring all safety regulations and standards are adhered to, and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Leading project management efforts, coordinating with various teams and stakeholders, and ensuring all project objectives are met.
• Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborating with the sales team to generate new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships.
• Providing leadership, guidance, and support to the construction team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Field Operations Manager Construction position should possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction/roofing industry, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Proven experience in estimates, inspections, scopes, and proposals.
• Extensive knowledge of construction project management, job site management, and operations management.
• Experience as a Site Superintendent or Construction Manager is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in sales and business development within the construction industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
