Field Superintendent/Project Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction processes.

Duties

• Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.
• Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project plans.
• Oversee budgeting processes, including tracking expenses and managing resources effectively.
• Utilize construction estimating techniques to prepare cost estimates for projects.
• Implement construction management software tools, such as Primavera, to streamline project tracking and reporting.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise promptly.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Use tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical work as necessary during the construction process.

Skills

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
• Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team development and performance enhancement.
• Excellent budgeting skills with experience in cost estimation for construction projects.
• Familiarity with construction management software, particularly Primavera, is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively within a construction environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Pay: $74,378.00 - $80,940.00 per year
