Job Summary
The Senior Vice President, Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for Ready®’s entire supply chain, procurement, production, and quality functions. This position will drive the strategy and execution of all production, distribution, and retail operations, monitoring and achieving / exceeding profitability and revenue performance goals.
Job Responsibilities
· Provide direct management over the full scope of the product lifecycle, driving initiatives to optimize operational efficiency from manufacturing to retail.
· Evaluate the operational performance of supply chain management, procurement, production, and quality functions to recommend strategies to improve results.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of retail strategies with production, quality, distribution, marketing, and compliance efforts.
· Lead, grow, and direct the management and development of services including sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain.
· Evaluate vendor partners in all areas of operations and lead contract negotiations.
· Oversee the demand planning function to connect sales activity throughout the supply chain for cross-function visibility.
· Effectively hold leadership teams accountable to deliver results by having a disciplined approach to operational excellence and following company policies.
· Build annual operational plans and budgets.
· Develop, evaluate, and mentor direct reports.
Qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or another related field.
· Experience: 10 – 15 years of operational experience in the food and beverage industry. Previous experience managing an operational team is also required.
· Demonstrated success with leading operations in a brand producing and sales environment, demonstrating efficiency improvements and scalability.
· Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
· Demonstrated success with contract development and negotiations.
· Proficiency in data and analytics tools.
· Ability to manage operational budgets and contribute to P&L goals.
