Your Role as a Parts Manager
As the Parts Manager, you will be a key leader responsible for ensuring our parts operations run efficiently, profitably, and with exceptional customer service. Your ability to manage inventory, anticipate customer needs, and lead a dynamic team will make a direct impact on our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management – Maintain optimal stock levels to meet demand and ensure seamless service for customers and internal departments.
- Strategic Planning – Monitor sales trends, promotions, and market demands to optimize inventory turnover and profitability.
- Team Leadership & Development – Recruit, train, and coach a high-performing parts team to deliver top-tier service.
- Customer Satisfaction – Ensure customers receive fast, friendly, and knowledgeable service by implementing efficient processes and training employees on best practices.
- Process Improvement – Develop strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize sales opportunities.
- Vendor & Supplier Relations – Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to negotiate pricing, ensure availability, and manage quality control.
- Security & Compliance – Ensure inventory security measures are in place and enforce company policies on parts handling and storage.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Experience in Parts Management, Inventory Control, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of leadership experience in a parts, inventory, or service-related industry.
- Strong customer service background with a passion for helping clients find the right solutions.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ability to leverage technology for efficiency.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift parts when needed.
Preferred:
- Experience in agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment industries.
- Proven track record of improving sales, inventory turnover, or team performance.
