Title : Leasing Agent Job Classification : Non-Exempt Reports To : Property Manager
Real Estate Equities is looking for a Leasing Agent to join our team! Villa Del Coronado is 192 units and Eight (8) buildings located in Brooklyn Park, MN.
Purpose : Assist the Property Manager with leasing apartments as well as helping current residents have a positive experience living at the property. Continually maintain a competitive occupancy for the community in the marketplace.

Leasing Agent- Market Rate Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide residents and applicants with exceptional customer service and foster good resident relations.
Be a valuable part of an effective on-site team.
Meet and greet prospects and applicants in person and on the telephone.
Show and lease apartments and follow up with applicants and prospects.
Follow up with prospects in Knock keeping a consistent engagement score of 85% or higher.
Process applications and other necessary paperwork to lease or renew resident leases.
Assist residents with questions and record maintenance service requests in Yardi.
Assist with marketing outreach program.
Attend regularly held training
Participate in community inspections as requested by Property Manager.
Participate with resident activities / programs such as National Night Out.
Polish up leasing model, vacant apartments and the tour route.
Participate in the preparation of making balloons clusters, preparing the refreshment center, and other preparation to open the leasing office for business.
Operate all office machines, printer, computer, etc.
Handle mail, prepare notes, letters, and documents; receive and distribute packages.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements :
Previous leasing or related sales experience preferred.
Ability to perform essential duties.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task / meet deadlines.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Yardi and Knock experience desired.
Maintain professional office environment and treat residents and fellow employees with respect.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and the ability to apply them in your daily interactions with residents, applicants and prospects preferred.
Consistently follow, enforce and support REE screening criteria as required by the Fair Housing Laws and REE.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Ability to twist, turn, bend, stoop and go up and down stairs as necessary.
Tuesday thru Saturday some nights and weekends as necessary.
