Key Responsibilities
Contract Review & Management
- Review, analyze, and negotiate vendor contracts, service agreements, and other legal documents to ensure alignment with company policies.
- Identify risk factors, key obligations, and compliance requirements within contracts.
- Maintain a centralized contract database and track contract lifecycles, renewals, and expiration dates.
- Ensure that all contracts remain compliant with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements throughout their term.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Operations, Procurement) to ensure contract obligations are met.
- Provide guidance on contract terms and best practices to business leaders and departments.
- Develop and implement a standardized contract template for vendors, ensuring the company’s interests are protected.
- Reduce reliance on vendor-provided agreements by creating company-preferred contract terms that streamline negotiations.
- Maintain and update contract templates to reflect regulatory and business changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field (Paralegal Certification preferred).
- 3 years of experience in contract management, legal review, or paralegal services.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, vendor negotiations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret legal documents.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience with contract management software or tracking systems is a plus.
