Company Description:
Real Life Counseling ("RLC") is a private practice counseling clinic in Clark County, WA. RLC provides mental health outpatient therapy in a private practice setting, utilizing in office and telehealth services. We work with a combination of Medicaid Funded Insurances, Private Insurances and Private Pay. Our team of Clinicians are made up of 1099/Independent Contractors to which RLC provides an executive and administrative services. RLC also provides administrative support to our Behavioral Health Agency, Real Life Community Behavioral Health ("RLCBH").
Job Overview:
The Administrative (Admin) Support Staff position is an entry level role within the Administrative department of RLC. This role mainly focuses assisting clients in the office as they come and go for appointments. It can involve taking copays, navigating/inputting/updating their information within our Electronic Health Record System (EHR), conducting insurance verifications, managing our main line phone and maintaining the decor/aesthetics and functionality of our suite/office spaces.
Job Duties:
This positions duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting clients with positive engagement as they enter and exit the building/lobby, over the phone, or through email communication
- Facilitating client/clinician check-in and answering any questions pertaining to their counseling services
- Entering/Updating client insurance information within our EHR system with accuracy and timeliness
- Running Co-Pays and Insurance Verifications on a regular basis
- Communication with our Billing Department regarding any identified insurance changes
- Confirming accurate and timely completion of Client Intake Documentation prior to Intake
- Additional Data Entry as identified and needed
- Providing general office setting support (ensuring office, break and storage areas are kept clean, organized and supplied).
- Other Duties relative to the position as assigned
Benefits:
- Wage: Starting pay is $20/hr. Raises are assessed openly & annually and are performance based, dependent upon meeting communicated job expectations and goals and are weighed in conjunction with clinic revenues & profits

- 401K - RLC has a 401K plan to which you can contribute pre-tax (Traditional) or post-tax (Roth) earnings. RLC offers 401k matching, dollar for dollar up to 3% of your annual income; Employer Matching starts on the first full pay period following your first anniversary date with RLC. 401K’s become fully vested after 5 years of employment (Eligible for enrollment after 90 days of employment)
- Holidays - 15 Paid Holidays & 1 floating holiday - Paid Holidays can be traded for an alternative day off, if preferred, within that holiday’s quarter (based on coverage & office availability as well). Floating Holiday can be taken anytime of the year and do not accrue or carry over.
- Vacation Time - Vacation Time accrues at different rates depending on tenure with RLC, and updates upon employment anniversary date. For new hires, the rate is 1hr of Vacation Time per 40 hours, separate of Sick Time (Hours will start to accrue on day 1; Eligible for use after 90 days of employment)
- Sick Time - Accrue 1hr of Sick Time per 40 hours worked, separate of Vacation Time (Hours will start to accrue on day 1; Eligible for use after 90 days of employment)
