Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of two years of front office experience preferred in a dental setting, not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of dental software strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Dental Insurance preferred.
Responsibilities
As a Patient Coordinator, you play an important role in our office and perform a wide range of responsibilities, to include:
- Greet and check patients in and out, before and after treatment.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Verify insurance for all clinical appointments.
- Develop and maintain doctor/hygiene schedules as necessary.
- Answer phones
- Send Pre-Authorizations
- Review and follow-up with unscheduled treatment
- Collect patient portions
- Sign patients up for financing
- Sign patients up for the Dental Savings Plan
- Work with Excel documents
- Scan forms into patient charts
- Send referral information to other offices.
