Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Aided Design Drafter at Real Performance Machinery, LLC in Independence, VA. The CAD Drafter will be responsible for creating technical drawings, engineering drawings, architectural drawings, and utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to design machinery and equipment for the wood production industry. This position is an entry level position with an opportunity to grow in an Engineering role. Candidate must be proficient in Solidworks modeling.
Qualifications
- Technical Drawing, Engineering Drawings, and Drawing skills
- Proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Hands-on experience in creating detailed design drawings
- Knowledge of industry-specific drafting standards and practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Associate's degree in drafting, engineering technology, or related field

The position is hourly at a pay rate of $22-$28 per hour. The work hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM
