Real Property Health Facilities, a multi-facility healthcare organization, is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at our corporate office.
The Essential Duties of the position include:
- Billing, payment follow up and reconciliation of resident accounts; Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care Organizations, Hospice and Medicare/Medicare Advantage, supporting 11 skilled nursing facilities in multiple states.
- Provides operational support, training, and information which will enable the facilities to attain company standards, regulatory compliance, and support the achievement of business goals consistent with the organization's mission.
- Conducts routine audits and oversight of facility resident trust accounts
- Other duties as assigned
- Some travel may be required.
Minimum Experience and Training:
- Some basic accounting and nursing home business office experience preferred
- Proficient knowledge of medical billing with a focus on Medicaid, Managed Medicaid, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage plans. At least 2 years preferred
- Associate degree or higher, or associated experience in accounting preferred
