Job Title: RF Circuit Design Engineer for Flexible MRI Coils

About Us: Company is a leader in the medical technology sector, pioneering advancements in MRI innovation. They are looking for an experienced RF Circuit Design Engineer to join our team and help develop state-of-the-art flexible MRI receive coils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and test RF circuitry tailored for flexible MRI receive coils.
- Develop and implement new designs for amplifiers, PCB layouts, and resonant components.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety and imaging standards (ANSI 60601-1, IEC 60601-2-33, ISO 10993-5/10).
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in analyzing circuit schematics and understanding the relationship between schematics and PCB layouts.
- Solid grasp of electromagnetic fields, antennas, and transmission line theory.
- In-depth knowledge of RF behavior and component-level electronics design.
- Experience with circuit board design software and electromagnetic simulation tools.
- Proficient in using computation software such as MATLAB, MathWorks, or Python.
- Skilled in operating RF lab equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, network analyzer, noise figure meter).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with flexible PCB design.
- Extensive experience with general PCB design tools and methodologies.
- Background in RF circuit design for medical devices, with a preference for MR-specific design.
- Experience in electro-mechanical design, particularly for anatomical compliance.
- Familiarity with wireless design.
- Understanding of Quality Management systems compliant with 21 CFR PART 820.
- Experience working in FDA-regulated design environments.
Education & Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Ability to work predominantly on-site.
- Proven track record of successfully executing design tasks in a collaborative team setting.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
