Your Role:
As the Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of this stacked townhouse project. Your expertise will ensure the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee all construction activities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Team Supervision: Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Safety First: Implement and uphold stringent safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe worksite.
- Technical Oversight: Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular site meetings and inspections to track progress, address issues, and keep the project on track.
- Documentation Management: Maintain thorough project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
- Effective Communication: Liaise with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any challenges.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Superintendent in wood frame construction, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Passive House Step 3 Experience: A must-have for this role.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations specific to wood frame projects.
