Engineering Technician – 6-Month Contract (Onsite, $25/hr)
We are looking for an Engineering Technician to support our Product Development team in our onsite testing lab in Mahwah, NJ. This is a 6-month contract role with an hourly rate of $25.
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineering teams with testing and experiments.
- Disassemble competitors’ products for technical evaluation.
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical products.
- Support product development efforts in evaluating system functionalities.
- Execute experiments, collect and analyze data, and document findings.
- Maintain and recalibrate lab equipment.
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of related technical experience.
- Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and soldering equipment.
- Hands-on experience with experiments or laboratory equipment.
- Experience assembling/disassembling small products.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Technical School Degree or Associate’s in an engineering-related field (Bachelor’s in Engineering is a plus).
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Monday.com, eDrawings, SolidWorks, or PTC Creo.
