About The Role
As a Construction Accountant, you will become an integral part of our thriving accounting department, providing critical financial management and oversight within the construction sector. You will collaborate closely with project managers, oversee budgeting, track expenses, and ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting in alignment with our company's strategic goals. This is a full-time, salaried position that requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of construction accounting principles.
What You"ll Do
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate financial statements for all construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with accounting practices and regulatory requirements within the construction industry.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and monitor project budgets and financial schedules.
- Review and approve construction project invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and financial risks.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to assist management in decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation for external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and explanations.
