Job Summary:
To perform a variety of duties required to maintain exterior cleanliness and ensure the property is kept in a safe and attractive condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Walk the property removing litter, debris, and pet droppings.
- Perform "trash-out" duties at vacated apartments.
- Pick-up and sweep dumpster area.
- Detail property on regular basis.
- Check and replace exterior lighting.
- Clean and maintain pool and/or spa.
- Repair and replace windows, screens, sliding glass doors, etc.
- Shovel snow, plow and salt or use ice melt, as needed.
- Pressure wash sidewalks, driveways and stairwells as needed.
- Assist with "make-ready" duties when requested.
- Distribute resident communications
- Perform work area clean-up and safety-related duties.
Knowledge, Abilities, and Other Qualities
- Ability to work independently and willingness to learn.
- Must have good communication abilities.
- Knowledge of equipment/machinery/tools.
- An associate in this position must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of the following tools:
- Hand Tools: various wrenches, grips, sledgehammer, hammer, snips, post whole diggers, saws, etc.
- User-Moved aids: Wheelbarrows, dollies, hand trucks, buckets, hoists, jacks, and step ladders, full ladders, double ladders.
