Wireless Test Engineer (Interoperability)
Work: W2 contract (potential full-time hire)
Realtime is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wireless Test Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on cutting-edge wireless technologies, ensuring system-level performance, and contributing to the development and testing of next-generation networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct system-level verification to ensure seamless functionality and performance.
- Test and validate new features and regression updates with a focus on precision and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute, collect, and document test results.
- Assist in developing and refining test cases and reports to maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of wireless technologies, such as LTE and 5G-NR, and familiarity with industry standards (e.g., 3GPP).
- Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
- Proficiency in configuring network elements, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and network protocols (e.g., DHCP, VLANs, IPv4/IPv6).
- Experience with tools like JIRA and Bitbucket is a plus.
- Skills in programming or scripting (e.g., Python, Shell) and familiarity with Open RAN are advantageous.
Preferred Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with synchronization solutions (e.g., PTP, SyncE) and AISG/ALD devices is a bonus.
