Role Summary
As the Sales Director, NAM at Realtime, you will be working with the VP Sales spearheading the agency’s revenue growth across NAM, with a strong focus on identifying new business opportunities and forging strategic partnerships. You will lead and manage the end-to-end sales process, from client engagement and needs assessment through to pitch presentations and contract negotiations, ensuring that revenue and profitability targets are consistently achieved or surpassed.
In this role, you will shape and execute a dynamic sales strategy that aligns with the broader business objectives, positioning Realtime Agency as a leading force in the digital marketing and technology sectors. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, client services, and product development, to ensure seamless integration of sales efforts with the overall company vision. As a senior leader, you will also play a pivotal role in mentoring and developing the wider team, driving performance through innovation and strategic thinking.
Key to your success will be your ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, and leverage these connections to unlock new growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Identify and target new business opportunities, expanding the agency's client base across multiple industries.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales tactics and maintain a competitive edge.
- Work closely with VP Sales to hit revenue targets, KPIs, and budgets for the sales department.
- Forecast sales performance, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Project manage collaboration between the sales team and other departments, such as marketing, creative, Digital operations and account management.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing and account management teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful client engagements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms while protecting agency margins.
- Lead client presentations and pitches, showcasing the agency’s services and expertise to secure new business.
Revenue Growth & Business Development:
- Drive revenue growth by securing new clients, upselling to existing clients, and identifying cross-sell opportunities.
- Explore new revenue streams, such as new service offerings, partnerships, or international market expansion.
- Oversee the management of RFPs (Request for Proposals) and briefs, ensuring accurate pricing models that reflect project scope and complexity.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to raise the agency’s profile and develop new business leads.
Reporting & Performance Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance updates to VP Sales using Salesforce and Gong.IO
- Track key metrics such as client acquisition, conversion rates, sales pipeline performance, and profitability.
- Work with our marketing team to recommend CRM systems and other tools to manage the sales pipeline and improve process efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate sales processes and strategies to improve effectiveness and identify growth opportunities.
