Our 115-bed facility established in 1924 prides itself on upholding a standard of excellence that allows our patients to take the first step to recovery. BHC Alhambra Hospital is a private, fully accredited, full-service acute psychiatric hospital serving children, adolescents and adults. BHC Alhambra is dedicated to providing quality behavioral health, substance abuse, and eating disorder treatment. We offer inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient options for individuals in the communities of the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas.
Job Description: The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing all hospital related digital marketing and strategy to enhance hospital brand awareness and create new customer referrals under the direction of both the Senior Director of Business Development and Reasons Eating Disorder Center Director of Business Development.
Key Responsibilities Include
Education: Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred
Experience: 3-5 years

Job Description: The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing all hospital related digital marketing and strategy to enhance hospital brand awareness and create new customer referrals under the direction of both the Senior Director of Business Development and Reasons Eating Disorder Center Director of Business Development.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Create, curate, and manage content across social media platforms, ensuring consistency with the brand voice and strategic goals for Reasons EDC and BHC Alhambra.
- Write, edit, and publish email e-blasts and blog posts on relevant topics, with a focus on behavioral health, eating disorders, and related themes.
- Develop website content, ensuring accuracy, optimization, and alignment with overall marketing initiatives.
- Assist in creating marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Provide input on digital marketing strategies, including email marketing, paid ads, and SEO initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position, ensuring adaptability across various projects.
Education: Associates degree required, Bachelors degree preferred
Experience: 3-5 years
Additional Requirements
- Campaign Planning: Strong proficiency and understanding of social media platforms, Constant Contact/email campaigns, digital analytics, and website content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
- Research: Ability to study and learn behavioral healthcare (mental health and eating disorder) programming, treatment options and trends as well as the most current and effective digital marketing best practices.
- Content Creation: Effective at writing/dispatching email marketing campaigns, creating social media content, enhancing websites, and developing supporting collateral pieces.
- Project Management: Ability to organize and keep track of project timelines, budgets and tasks.
- Audience Targeting: Ability to devise digital campaigns to engage mental health and eating disorder customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to actively listen and then apply ideas effectively.
- Reporting: Able to provide accurate reports and work analysis to leadership, supervisors and team.
- Adaptable in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
