Job Title : Sales and Events Manager

Location : New York, NY - Ink 48 Hotel - On-Site, In Person Position

Job Summary : Event Sales :

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities for corporate, social, and group events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, fostering repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct site tours, respond to RFPs, and create compelling event proposals.

Event Planning and Execution :

  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and coordinate all aspects of their events, including food & beverage, room setup, audiovisual, and other special requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from contract signing through post-event follow-up.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution, maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction.
  • Manage a small team of unionized servers / bartenders, including supervision, scheduling and payroll.
  • Team Collaboration :

  • Partner with sales, operations, and culinary teams to optimize event experiences and profitability.
  • Actively participate in hotel meetings and planning sessions to align events with broader business objectives.
  • Growth and Development :

  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to maintain Ink48 Hotel's competitive edge.
  • Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in event sales, planning and execution required.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Proficiency in event management software and basic office applications is a plus.

    Salary Range : $68,000 - $74,000 annually
