Rebellion Records is seeking a Business Affairs Specialist to play a pivotal role in structuring deals, managing contracts, and supporting the company’s growing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in AI-driven legal and business operations (ChatGPT, etc.), as well as a strong understanding of the modern music industry, social media, and music industry contracts. This role will report directly to the CEO and work closely with high-level executives at 10K Projects and Atlantic Records, providing a unique opportunity to impact the strategic expansion of Rebellion Records.

• Review, draft, and manage music industry contracts, including artist agreements, licensing deals, and publishing arrangements.
• Utilize AI-driven legal and business tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to optimize contract review, business strategy, and deal execution.
• Collaborate with legal counsel and executive leadership to streamline business operations and deal structures.
• Develop and maintain business infrastructure to support Rebellion’s rapid growth in artist signings and revenue expansion.
• Oversee and advise on sync opportunities, publishing revenues, and licensing negotiations under our Warner Chappell joint venture on the publishing side of the business.
• Work closely with Rebellion’s viral marketing team to ensure contracts align with social media and UGC (User-Generated Content) campaigns.
• Act as a key liaison between Rebellion Records and our major label/joint venture partners, ensuring strategic alignment in negotiations and execution.
• Stay up to date on music industry trends, viral marketing strategies, and digital monetization models to maximize business potential.
• Ensure compliance with global music publishing, royalty collection, and distribution regulations.

• 2 years of experience in business affairs, contract review, or legal operations within the music industry.
• Strong understanding of music industry contracts, including recording agreements, publishing deals, and licensing agreements.
• Experience working with AI-driven business tools (e.g., ChatGPT, legal AI platforms, automation software) for contract analysis and business optimization.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, UGC strategies, and how viral marketing impacts music business operations.
• Highly motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented, with a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact with C-suite executives and label partners.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting (remote & in-person in Puerto Rico).
