Position Summary
The Suspension Technician is responsible for pre-inspection, breakdown, and assembly of various self-leveling suspension parts and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems,
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
- Operate a wide variety of power and hand tools including, but not limited to, pneumatic tools, low power non-cnc lathe, milling machine, hydraulic crimping press, electric hand tools, hammer and screwdrivers
- Sand blast and spray paint various parts on the self leveling units
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
- Detect faulty operations and defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- Associates degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance a plus
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in technician work
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently

This is located in a warehouse with the garage doors opened at all times to provide circulation of the air. There is commission made per unit you make once you are fully trained. You will be standing most of the day, and will be lifting struts at least 20lbs throughout the day.
Times are 6 AM - 2 PM EST.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
