Position Overview
Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay (RTTB) is seeking a Disaster Recovery Program Manager to lead the implementation and management of disaster recovery projects in the Central West District. This role is critical to ensuring that RTTB delivers exceptional service to affected communities while meeting all grant and contract requirements.
The Disaster Recovery Program Manager will coordinate with stakeholders, manage resources, and oversee the successful delivery of program deliverables in disaster recovery zones.
Key Responsibilities
Disaster Program Management:
• Develop and implement guidelines, standards, and procedures for disaster recovery projects.
• Oversee client intake and eligibility verification for disaster recovery assistance.
• Coordinate with local municipalities, disaster relief organizations, and stakeholders to align resources and efforts.
• Monitor the progress of disaster recovery projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Ensure compliance with all funding sources, grant requirements, and programmatic standards.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build relationships with governmental agencies, nonprofit organizations, and community groups involved in disaster recovery.
• Represent RTTB at stakeholder meetings, public forums, and disaster recovery planning sessions.
• Develop outreach strategies to identify clients and secure referrals for disaster recovery programs.
Compliance and Reporting:
• Collaborate with the Development and Accounting Teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of program outcomes, budgets, and compliance.
• Provide necessary data and updates to the Development Team, which will handle all communication and reporting directly to funders.
• Maintain comprehensive records of project outcomes, metrics, and compliance documentation to support the Development Team in preparing funder reports.
• Ensure all reporting aligns with grant requirements and organizational policies.
Supervision and Leadership:
• Lead the onboarding process for subcontractors, volunteers, and disaster program staff.
• Provide training and oversight to team members involved in disaster recovery projects.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in disaster recovery or community development programs.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of disaster relief policies, grant management, and compliance processes.
