Quality Assurance Technician: Responsible for upholding quality standards by offering support to production, ensuring compliance with specifications, and fostering ongoing improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-process, final, and receiving inspections
- Interpret and understand internal and customer drawings, and quality requirements.
- Actively participate in assigned training programs
- Complete First Article Inspection Reports accurately and thoroughly.
- Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques effectively to monitor and maintain quality
- Maintain calibration of equipment and tools used in the inspection process
- Prepare and distribute Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
- Maintain accurate records of activities and training.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, and production personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

Location: Wayland, MI – Manufacturing Facility
Category: Non-exempt employee, full time
Shift: First (7:00 am – 3:30 pm)
Qualified candidates will possess the following minimum requirements:
- Due to ITAR requirements, we can only consider American Citizens for this position.
- Must have at least 20/20 vision – with vision correction aides (i.e. glasses, contacts)
- Must be able to remain seated and/or standing for extended periods and operate shop resources with arms and hands
- Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen that includes marijuana
- Attention to detail is a must, along with the ability to ignore distractions while working
