Position Summary :
The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for excellent delivery on their assigned piece of business. Project Managers partner with others in the agency to ensure we have found the right balance between client and agency economics. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Account and extended team to develop annual SOWs and tactical and staffing plans for internal planning and client approval.
- Manage the development and production of print and digital marketing efforts for their assigned brands (websites, banners, applications, brochures, mailers, banner ads, print ads, video)
- Partner closely with Account and Client Operations teams during the project planning, execution, and production phases. Ensuring client objectives / guidelines are defined, and deliverables and client feedback are shared / incorporated on time.
- Develops and leads client presentations on budgets, timelines, and scope for their respective brands.
- Develop work back schedules based on a project deadline and required checkpoints.
- Take detailed notes in client meetings and turn them into action items in follow-up communication.
- Demonstrates significant marketing knowledge and contributes to client brainstorms, brand strategy, and tactical plan.
- Interface with key agency teams to ensure they’re on track to meet the agreed-upon milestones (Account, Creative, Studio, Editorial, Print Production, Strategic Planning, Information UX, Technology, Programmers)
- Provide necessary direction and support to the team on the tasks and deliverables required.
- Responsible for leading the following meetings : all project meetings / recaps, weekly status, project briefings, internal creative reviews, and meetings with external vendors.
- Review content and route deliverables to the appropriate core team members for review / sign-off via an electronic project routing system. Ensure signoff before key junctures (brand team review, Leadership review, disk release, asset handoff to vendor, etc.)
- Enforce agency processes and manage all projects' quality assurance (QA) phase.
- Represent Agency and Project Management department at Client meetings, Agency days, etc.
- Work on and support new business pitches as necessary
- Facilitate and foster creativity throughout the organization
- Organize meetings and client calls by establishing a meeting agenda in collaboration with the account team.
- Organize internal meetings by establishing an agenda in collaboration with the design and strategy teams.
- Keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, and status reports.
- Know the health of projects, risks, and timeline implications and constantly communicate them to team members and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with technical and creative leads, define project workflows and scopes of work, milestones, and execution plans.
- Maintain project schedule, data tracking and delivery, and vendor and client relationships.
- Assess and report the day-to-day progress of tasks and deliverables using project management tools.
- A proven track record of delivering results with multiple partners. Cross-functional communication and collaboration is essential.
