Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Manager to oversee daily operations of our food truck. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. As the Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining food safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the food truck, including staff supervision and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Train staff on proper food handling techniques and customer service practices.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including processing transactions using POS systems.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet company standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of the food truck to ensure cleanliness and organization.
Requirements
- Minimum two years’ experience working on a food truck or in the culinary industry.
- Competent using Google Suite, MS Word and Excel
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing orders efficiently.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for sanitation.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Clean driving record and experience driving a large truck.
- Valid food handler’s license.
