Qualifications
- The Tour Operator Account Executive must build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key client executives and travel managers to foster long-term partnerships.
- A sales-oriented mindset is crucial, along with a deep understanding of sales techniques, market research, and customer service.
- The role involves supporting the team in strategic planning, ensuring KPIs are met, and managing client records effectively, including contract updates.
- Candidates should have experience in the hospitality or tourism industry and possess online technical skills related to process management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with an analytical approach to business plans and market opportunities.
- The ability to operate independently while being results-oriented is essential.
- Familiarity with business technology, particularly CRM and spreadsheet software, will enhance performance in this role.(i.e. SAP/Opera/ Delphi)
- Fully bilingual (fluent in both english and spanish)
Responsibilities
- They are responsible for promptly responding to partner inquiries and supporting the Director of Sales in managing key client relationships and strategies.
- This role oversees a significant portfolio of accounts, primarily in the USA, focusing on increasing revenue through effective communication and negotiation.
- Regular meetings and calls with clients are essential for driving spending and addressing various criteria like retention and bookings.
- The Tour Operator Account Executive will analyze travel data and prepare reports while collaborating on sales strategies and campaigns. Identifying growth opportunities within key customer segments is vital.
- The position also involves negotiating promotional terms, ensuring brand strategy alignment with marketing, and addressing parity issues.
- Moreover, the manager will resolve connectivity bugs, handle group sales quotes, and monitor content updates on public platforms.
- Flexibility for networking events and hosting training sessions is also required.
Bonus: earn up to $20,000 in bonuses based on quarterly achievements.
