Content and Social Media Director

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns.

Duties

• Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand visibility and engagement.
• Create compelling content tailored for different audiences, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
• Monitor social media channels for trends and conversations relevant to the brand; utilize social listening tools to gather insights.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns.
• Analyze performance metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of social media initiatives; adjust strategies as needed.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in social media marketing.

Skills

• Proficiency in Social Media Management tools and platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Strong Content Creation skills with experience in Graphic Design using tools like Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Figma, Milanote, Hootesuite.
• Knowledge of Photography and Video Editing techniques to produce high-quality visual content.
• Familiarity with Google analytics tools for tracking performance metrics.
• Ability to conduct effective Social Listening to understand audience sentiment and engagement.
• Experience in Social Media Marketing, including paid advertising strategies.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail; ability to create visually appealing content that resonates with the target audience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
