Role Description
Reporting to the VP of Digital Advertising, the Amazon Promotions Manager will play a key role in helping brands scale successfully on Amazon by developing and managing promotional calendars, aligning promotions with sales trends, seasonal demand, and competitive benchmarks to maximize revenue impact.
This role does not involve directly managing Amazon Ads but will work cross-functionally with the Performance Marketing, Creative, and Account Management teams to support and amplify promotional success.
Key Responsibilities :
Promotions Strategy & Execution
- Develop, manage, and execute Amazon promotional strategies that drive sales velocity, organic ranking improvement, and overall GMV growth for our brand partners.
- Build out and maintain promotional calendars, ensuring strategic alignment across seasonal events, product launches, and competitive trends (e.g., Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Back to School, Holiday Deals).
- Utilize various Amazon deal types (Top Deals, Best Deals, Lightning Deals, 7-Day Deals, Best Deals, Top Deals, Coupons, Prime Exclusive Discounts, and Limited-Time Offers) based on data trends, category benchmarks, and competitor insights to ensure maximum ROI for our brand partners.
- Optimize deal selection and timing by analyzing product sales velocity, competitor pricing, and previous promotional performance.
- Secure and manage promotional opportunities through Amazon reps, leveraging Amazon Strategic Account Services (SAS) to obtain exclusive discounts and deal placements.
